A simple but very significant development has revolutionised coaching at Clever Cricket this Winter. Coaches are using the new microphone head-set which amplifies their instructions through a speaker at the back of the batsman.

When asked, Head coach Orazio Santalucia said "I have been coaching professionally for 11 years and its great to know that finally my students can hear everything I'm saying no matter how busy the centre gets!"

Owner Shaun Brown pointed out, "we have just relayed the coaching pitches, the Dartfish computer coaching program is in full swing, we have a great coaching panel and the new head-sets are the icing on the cake."

Len Pascoe signs for Satellite Camps in 2009 The outer suburban camps for Melbourne are now booking with four popular areas available again in 2009. The popular 2 day format will again be supported by our panel of former Test stars including former Test speedster Len Pascoe for the first time! Pascoe a regular on the regional NSW camps said " I'm looking forward to the flight to Melbourne and coaching the keen young players- especially the quicks!" Terry Alderman signs for NSW regional camps. Popular swing bowler Terry Alderman has confirmed that he will be coaching on the NSW regional camps this year! When asked he said " I have enjoyed the past couple of years coaching on the camps and while time allows me it's a pleasure to be invovled in junior development." Graham Yallop and Colin Miller hit the road in Regional Victoria. Former test cricketer of the year in 2001 Colin "funky" Miller and ex Test skipper Graham Yallop will feature at many of the Victorian regional camps in 2009. The ever popular "Funky" Miller is always a favorite on the camps and explained "I enjoy working with the country kids, they seem to love the fact that the former test players are in their area and they really want to learn" Both Graham and Colin enjoy their golf while "on tour"also! As Yallop explained " I always have the clubs in the car and after the camps have finished for the day I try to take a late afternoon hit at some of the great golf clubs around Victoria- it's a great time of the year!"
